A Little About Me 

My name is Allison Hertog. I'm a former teacher and special education attorney.  I had the idea of IEP meeting video dramas after going to hundreds of IEP meetings and representing parents for decades.

I came to this field out of deep personal experiences.  I've overcome a lot to get where I am today.

I was a special education student in elementary school when my parents were told I would never go to college because my reading disability was undiagnosed.  How wrong they were about me and so many other children!  

After graduating from Smith College, I was drawn to become a special education teacher, graduating from Teachers College/Columbia University. Then I went to Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. 

I've been practicing as a special ed attorney for parents for over 20 years, and I bring my personal passion to every parent I touch.
