A Little About Me
My name is Allison Hertog, former teacher and special education attorney. I came to this field out of deep personal experiences. I've overcome a lot to get where I am today.
I was a special education student in elementary school when my parents were told I would never go to college. I was misdiagnosed as intellectually disabled and my reading disability. was not recognized. How wrong they were! I graduated from Smith College.
That experience lead me to become a special education teacher, graduating from Teachers College/Columbia University.
I've been practicing as a special ed attorney for parents for over 20 years, and I bring my personal passion to every parent I touch. For more info, see my resume.
